Welcome to the Japanese Electrophoresis Society (JES) Home Page

The Japanese Electrophoresis Society (JES) was established in 1950. The aim of the society is to promote the development of new techniques of electrophoresis and their applications to biomedical research and clinical chemistry. Electrophoresis is now widely used for the study of nucleic acids, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and other biomolecules. The official journal, Japanese Journal of Electrophoresis and the scientific meeting of JES accept papers on all aspects of electrophoresis and related techniques with topics of newly developed or improved methods, development of theory, and their innovative applications to the studies in the fields of life science.
