お知らせ：科研費研究班からの報告

２年程前に発足をお知らせした、本会の一部会員からなる科研費研究班は、
当初予定の研究期間を大幅に超過いたしましたが、先頃ようやく研究の取りま
とめを終えることができました。そこで、研究期間全体の経過概要につきまし
て、以下の通りご報告申し上げます。なお各位のご芳名については敬称略に
て、またご所属につきましては、研究期間当時のものを記載しているため、現

○研究内容の概要
３バンドのデジタルカメラを用いて皮膚・粘膜の分光反射率を推定するシス
テムの開発に着手後、予期せぬ技術的障害や一部研究者の交替・休職等のた
め、静止画像における実物色の再現に予想以上に時間がかかった。さらにその
影響で、３度に渡る研究費の申請も不調に終わるなど、大きな困難に直面し
た。そのため計画の大幅な遅延を余儀なくされたが、最近になって動画像リア
ルタイム分光画像システムの試作にほぼ成功した。ビデオカメラで撮影した画
像を分光推定し、実物色の再現と、メラニン・ヘモグロビン・酸素飽和度の分
布がリアルタイムで表示できるため、今後さらに応用研究の活発化が期待され
る。

Overview of activities:
-This research group has just made a great success in developing a
prototype system after months of struggling with unexpected obstacles
such as technological difficulties beyond expectation, unscheduled
change of some researchers and rejection of application for three
kinds of grants. Now our system translates color of skin captured by
an ordinary three band camera to that of an actual one regardless of
the illuminating conditions and simultaneously visualizes distribution
of melanin, hemoglobin and oxyhemoglobin in real time. It will inspire
the members to attempting a wide range of applications.
